Knowing your hair type can be very useful in understanding why your hair is positively responsive to some hair products more than others, knowing which hair styles are best suited for your hair, also giving you some insight into how best to care for your hair and tailor a good hair regimen to meet the needs of your hair based on its type for example type 4 hair requires far more moisture than type 3 hair. Below are Texture Typing systems which detail the varieties of curly and coily/kinky hair. These hair types include 3A, 3B, 3C, 4A, 4B and 4C hair.
